The SG 100.15 - Granular Ice maker is an air-cooled, self-contained, back counter machine that is energy efficient and comprised of a full stainless steel body with foam injected polyurethane insulation to preserve ice quality. This model incorporates all the latest technology to ensure maximum efficiency and enduring performance.
The SG range of Ice Machines stands out for its modern design and reduced height (to be able to use it as a worktop or to store light things on top of). This machine produces granular ice which is softer than cubes and chewable, which is perfect for cocktails, its mouldable properties suit packaging applications or displays for supermarkets or fishmongers. Granular ice is obtained at just below 0°C with 25% residual water. Inside this machine is a stainless steel vertical cylindrical evaporator. Granular ice is produced by utilising an Archimedean screw, the rotating blades of the screw scrape the ice off the inner surface of the evaporator and then moves it into an ice crusher which processes it, lowering its residual water content.
With its output of 100 Kg of granular ice every 24 hours, the SG 100.15 is ideal for pubs, cocktail bars, fast-food outlets, hotels, supermarkets and transport and packaging operations. The internal ice storage bin can hold a maximum of 15 Kg of ice.
