Manual Water Softener - 12 Ltr

Simple & Reliable

The Manual Water Softener contains resin beads. These beads absorb metal ions found in water (which is commonly calcium and magnesium). The resin contains sodium, hydrogen and potassium, which clean the water by attracting the metal ions to the beads. The softened water then passes from the softener unit and into your machine, giving you better cleaning results to your tableware and prevents the scale from getting into the essential working parts of the dishwasher or glasswasher.

The Manual Water Softener as apposed to the Automatic Water Softener needs to be manually regenerated (usually once a week), by topping up the unit with Granular Salt. The salt solution is then flushed through the softener into a bucket or sink until the water runs clear, at that point you can connect it back to your warewasher.

Effective Against Scale

Scale can be an aesthetic problem, leaving streaky and milky looking marks on otherwise clean glasses and crockery. Clenaware water treatments are used to remove hardness from water coming into the machine. The hardness in water is determined by the amount of calcium and magnesium dissolved in water, the more calcium and magnesium the water contains, then the harder the water is. Scale likes to cling to parts such as heating elements, wash arms and water hoses, so the glass or dishwasher can be the perfect host for scale build up.

Water treatments are not only beneficial for delivering perfect cleaning results; they are also essential for keeping the working parts of your glass or dishwasher running smoothly and efficiently.
